A FREE Webinar Including a Live Q and A Session with Me
The International Bipolar Foundation -- an organization I admire -- asked me to do a live webinar for them and I happily agreed.
During this live webinar I'll be discussing my personal experiences with bipolar disorder from before diagnosis, during the diagnostic process, during the treatment process and beyond.
But this isn't all about life events. This is about how one person with a serious mental illness has managed to deal with a system that seem adversarial, at best. It's also about empathy, compassion and humor.
And I'll be doing a LIVE Q and A at the end so you can get your questions answered.
What You May Have Missed
Here are some of the latest and greatest you may have missed.

A Thank-You to Pathways Serious Mental Illness Society
Last month, I was proud to be a part of Pathways Serious Mental Illness Society's annual Circle of Strength Event. I was the Master of Ceremonies and the Keynote Speaker. I told part of my personal story and the audience laughed, cried and, well, cried. They were amazing, and so many wanted signed books afterwards. If you're in the Lower Mainland and have a family member with a serious mental illness, make sure you
check out Pathways.

An Apology and An Announcement
Some of you may have noticed that the site was down last month for almost two weeks. I want to take a moment to apologize for that. Unfortunately, it was outside of my control, but I still know it inconvenienced many people. My apologies, folks.
Partially because of this, I've decided to change web hosts. I'll be doing that over the next couple of months. This will come with a website redesign. All kinds of new little bits and bobs are going to come on board when this happens. I'm excited about the change. I do hope you like the updates.
'Lost Marbles' Reviews
I'm pleased to say I now have 153 reviews between GoodReads and Amazon. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to write their thoughts. The average review is about 4.5 stars out of 5!
Here is a recent 5-star review by Jen S. on Amazon:
"I bought this book when it first came out and devoured all the information I did and didn’t know. I’m presently in a mixed episode and used the book to facilitate a discussion with my 12 year old about what a mixed episode means and what my suicide prevention plan is. So, it’s written at a level you’ll understand and can share with others. 'Lost Marbles' is a GREAT tool for understanding your bipolar day. (And for talking with your
kid!)"
If you've had a chance to read Lost Marbles, I would love it if you would leave a review on Amazon or Goodreads. Thanks, I appreciate it.
Enjoy May's Flowers
That's it for now folks; I'll catch up with you again in June. Enjoy the warmer weather and Spring flowers.
