Learn About What Rapid Cycling Bipolar Disorder Is Really Like
Most people with bipolar disorder have mood episodes that last between weeks and months and have fewer than four mood episodes a year. Some, though, have more episodes that last shorter periods of time. This is known as rapid cycling. Rapid cycling can be a challenging aspect of bipolar disorder. Learn what you need to know about rapid cycling bipolar disorder including available treatments.

What You May Have Missed
Here are a some things you might have missed from Bipolar Burble and Breaking Bipolar:
- Is Bipolar Disorder a 'Real' Disability -- I am disabled by bipolar disorder. For me, that's a fact, but some people would argue that bipolar disorder isn't a "real" disability.
- Making Money Off People with Mental Illness -- Feedback I got from one woman regarding charging for my masterclasses was unfettered anger. So, should I make money off people with mental illness?
- Being a Realist with Bipolar -- Some people only respond to sunshine-y-happy individuals and they think we should all look at bipolar in that way. Well, I'm not one of those people. I'm a realist. And that's okay.
- How Anxiety Affects Bipolar Disorder -- I have a lot of anxiety along with my bipolar disorder and I've learned some interesting things about how one affects the other. Some of these effects were a surprise to me.
- When You Know It's Going to Be a Bad Day -- I know we're all supposed to look at a new day as a blank page, but. honestly, sometimes I know from the time my eyes flick open that it's going to be a bad day. Here's what to do if you have that experience
too.
- Medication Failure Is Not Bad -- I've had more medication failures than I can count and, for the most part, each one was a various level of devastating. I've learned, though, that I can see medication failures as not a bad thing.

"I have to hear people tell me that life-saving medication -- medication that keeps me, personally, alive -- is wrong all the time. And I make cogent arguments as to why this isn't the case all the time. Well, today I'm sick of it. Today I want to be very clear. Today I want these people to just Fuck. Right. Off. Yup, I have no doubt this will make some people get their knickers in a twist, but it's Friday, I'm tired of their
nonsense, and I don't care.
"If you think people shouldn't take medication, specifically, people with mental illness shno9uldn't take medication, the you're wishing me dead. It's that simple. So, Fuck. Right. Off."
'Lost Marbles' Reviews
I'm pleased to say I now have 246 reviews/ratings between GoodReads and Amazon. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to write their thoughts. My book is rated about 4.5 stars out of 5!
Here is a touching review by Marzena Gzella on Amazon UK:
"As a bipolar sufferer I had read many books on the topic and most left me confused and disappointed. Natasha Tracy " Lost marbles " delivers what other failed to deliver. Incredibly honest , presenting bipolar disorder for what it is , insightful and offering both understanding and hope Natasha lives with bipolar disorder herself and she does not try to sugar coat the difficulties she faces .She is a warrior .She fights for her
better tomorrow.
"I too ,like herself hear from the well meaning people :" Don't be so harsh on yourself." Natasha knows all too well that if she is not harsh on herself she will fall apart , wont achieve anything meaningful , will fail .She earned my respect from the first pages .Her advice is invaluable . The language she uses is clear and makes it easy to " get it " . If there is one book I wish I had read around the time of my diagnosis its this one . Thank
you."
If you've had a chance to read Lost Marbles, I would love it if you would leave a review on Amazon or Goodreads. Thanks, I appreciate it.
October's Final Words
That's it for now folks; I'll catch up with you again in November. Until then, please, please go vote! Remember, we all get the government we work for.
Also, please remember to socially distance and take other precautions to lessen the spread of COVID-19. The third wave is killing hundreds of Americans a day and no one wants that to continue into the holiday season.
And as an uplifter, here's a great October quote I found talking about how October can be beautiful, even from inside:
“In October, a maple tree before your window lights up your room like a great lamp. Even on cloudy days, its presence helps to dispel the gloom.”
